Carolyn Beaumont

Carolyn Beaumont is a freelance editor and proofreader, working for publishing houses and government departments. She began her career as a newspaper and broadcast journalist.

Moving from newspapers to book publishing, she has edited books for R.M. Williams, Di Morrissey, Dave Warner and many more Australian novelists. She also edits and proofreads non fiction and documents for medical, legal, financial and academic publications.

More recently, Carolyn has restructured and edited a major website for the ACT Government. She has been a teacher in the fields of journalism, editing and proofreading for more than 20 years.
