This accredited Course
covers all the subjects of our Certificate II Program but also gives
you skills in the advanced subjects of international fares and ticketing
and the Galileo computer reservations system. Galileo is the computer
program used throughout the travel industry to make bookings for
international travel.
The comprehensive skills
you gain in the Certificate III Program open up a wider range of
employment opportunities. Once you are employed in the industry,
the additional qualifications gained through the Certificate III
Program will increase your prospects for promotion.
You will also learn
how to:
quote prices from
a brochure and apply the appropriate booking conditions;
plan and cost an
itinerary;
plan from an airline
flight schedule;
apply fare rules,
construct and quote fare costs;
write airline tickets;
advise clients on
passports, visas, health regulations and travel insurance;
make and record
reservations using industry standard computer systems;
produce standard
agency correspondence such as itinerary documents and confirmation
letters;
use Galileo computer
reservations systems for international fares and ticketing.
